A.P.J. Abdul Kalam was an Indian scientist and politician who served his country as president from 2002 to 2007.A lifelong scientist who studied physics and aerospace engineering. Kalam's prominent role in India's 1998 nuclear weapons tests established him as a national hero.In order to perpetuate his ideas and aspirations among young people and for the development of our country, I feel that it is necessary to introduce a course on his biography in the school syllabus. Instituting awards in his name,for perpetuating excellence in science and technology in institutes of higher learning will also be a real tribute to him instead of meaningless adulation on his anniversary.
